Perched on the breathtaking Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall, just moments from the South West Coast Path and some of the UK’s best beaches, is family owned and run, Trenance Farm Cottages.

12 self-catering holiday cottages set in 13 acres of Cornish countryside, perfectly positioned between Mullion Village and picturesque Mullion Cove.

Everyone is greeted with a warm welcome at our Mullion holiday cottages, especially four-legged guests, who love the space and freedom on offer.

Three generations have worked together to create a wholesome and laid-back setting for your Cornish getaway.

Cottages

Our Mullion holiday cottages have been converted with care from farm outbuildings into bright and comfortable self-catering holiday accommodation. We have a choice of one, two and three-bedroom cottages, sleeping up to six people. They are equipped with everything you need for a relaxing and stress-free break on the Cornish coast, whether you’re travelling solo, as a couple or as a family.

Each cottage has a private outdoor space, but guests can also make use of our extensive gardens, two exercise fields for dogs, and – from May to September – our sheltered outdoor pool. There’s a play area for little ones and two games rooms for slightly bigger ones – equipped with a table football and table tennis.

Explore

From secluded coves to incredible coastal walks and sub-tropical gardens, on the Lizard Peninsula we are spoilt for choice with spectacular scenery and things to do. The closest beach, Mullion Cove, and the South West Coast Path are both just a 10 minute walk from our Mullion holiday cottages. There’s a fabulous chocolate factory and craft centre next door to the cottages and Mullion village – less than a mile away – has a selection of pubs and shops.

Created by Richard and Jenny, Trenance Farm Cottages has been independently run and owned since 1981, and continues to flourish under the management of daughter, Tamara, and granddaughter, Caja. Richard and Jenny set the tone for the wonderful and welcoming place that Trenance Farm Cottages is today, and still add their magical touches daily – you may notice homegrown flowers grown and picked by Jenny in your cottage on arrival.

About Us

Dog friendly

The Lizard Peninsula is the perfect playground for the whole family, especially your beloved dogs. We want every member of the family to enjoy a much needed getaway, which is why we welcome pets with as much enthusiasm as humans at our Mullion holiday cottages. All our cottages are dog friendly except Wheal Dream, and we have a spacious exercise field for dogs. Treats and a towel will be provided for them on arrival.
