Our stunning setting on the Cornish Lizard Peninsula means that there is endless coastline, breathtaking beaches and spectacular scenery to discover just minutes away from your holiday cottage. With so much to explore, it can be hard to know where to start, so we’ve picked out some of the best things to do in Cornwall to make it easier for you to plan your trip.

Local Walks

By far one of the best things to do in Cornwall, and the best way to see the dramatic Lizard Peninsula coastline, is by walking the South West coast path, which you can pick up less than a mile from Trenance Farm Cottages. On Britain’s longest walking trail, you’ll discover hidden coves and golden shores and soak up uninterrupted seascapes.

Local Attractions

Step away from the coastline, and there is plenty more to be discovered on the Lizard Peninsula. Known for its subtropical climate, one of the best things to do in Cornwall is to explore some of the many colourful gardens filled with rare and exotic plants – there are over 70 to choose from across Cornwall.
